Department: University Counsel Requested Start Date: July 6, 2026 Normal Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, some evenings and weekends required Job Summary: The University Counsel and Title IX Coordinator is responsible for overseeing institutional compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of the 1972 Civil Rights Act (“Title IX”), the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization of 2013 (“VAWA”), the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act (“Campus SaVE”), and other related federal and state laws. In addition, this position serves as the University Counsel. In discharging the duties of the position, the University Counsel and Title IX Coordinator works closely with the Office of Community Standards, Office of the Provost, Department of Human Resources, and other University administrators.
