Job Description: We move 5% of the world’s money. Using a debit or credit card to fund a transfer is one of the most popular payment methods used by our customers, and we use acquirers to process ~£1bn in monthly card payment volume. A card payment first passes through our fraud and authentication engines, determining if it’s safe to process. This is managed by the Cards Pay-in Authentication team, the sister team to Orchestration. The Cards Pay-in Orchestration team decides which acquirer a payment should be routed to for maximum chance of being accepted.
