About the Job The Fleet Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of a fleet of approximately 55 units of primary and secondary equipment , ensuring safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operations. This role drives market‑based profitability through effective leadership of all fleet and maintenance activities within the assigned area, with a strong focus on cost control , asset utilization, safety, and team development . The Fleet Manager oversees a maintenance operation that runs two shifts and directly leads a staff of 9 Technicians , 1 Operations Specialist , and 1 Shift Supervisor . Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance programs, regulatory and safety compliance, technician training, workforce planning, vendor management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role ensures high training standards, promotes a strong safety culture, and develops team members to meet both operational demands and business objectives.
