Artistree-Kernersville The Production Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating work activities and resources needed to manufacture products, while meeting continuous improvement objectives in accordance with cost, quality, quantity, and safety goals and specifications. Major Activities: Production Management: - Reviews daily plan, forecast and production orders concerning inventory and staffing requirements; work procedures and duty assignments; to successfully meet time-line and budget goals• - Directs and/or coordinates production activities while driving safety, quality and efficiency to meet facility objectives - Prepares and maintains production reports - Develops budgets and approves expenditures for supplies, materials, or human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, and/or equipment are used efficiently to meet production - Initiates inventory and cost control programs - Coordinates and recommends procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines Leadership: - Trains, develops, and evaluates production supervisors - Support other leaders in strategic objectives; drive SQET - Resolves employee...
