Description The Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin periodically hires qualified individuals for full-time and part-time faculty/instructor positions in our teacher education program. Successful applicants for these temporary, non-tenure track positions may contribute to a large field-based teacher preparation program, potentially including coordinating and/or supervising field experiences and student teaching or special projects in education. Responsibilities may also include teaching undergraduate courses (and potentially graduate courses for holders of a doctoral degree), supervising student teachers/interns and/or coordinating elementary level cohorts of pre-service teachers. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment, department need and availability of funding.
