Specialist Diagnostic (RDSPD) - ( 260000MQ ) Description Job Overview Primarily responsible for the evaluation and identification of students with disabilities and assists the school district and RDSPD in maintaining compliance with state and federal laws related to the provision of Special Education services. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Conduct evaluations and other professional activities consistent with the requirements of laws, rules and regulations, and local district policies and procedures - Articulate the purpose of evaluation procedures and their relationship to educational programming - Comply with local, state, and federal monitoring and evaluation requirements - Develop collaborative relationships with families, educators, the school, the community, outside agencies, and related service personnel - Communicate and consult effectively with individuals, parents/guardians, teachers, and other school and community personnel - Use appropriate communication skills to report and interpret assessment and evaluation results - Keep accurate and detailed records of assessments, evaluation, and related proceedings such as, but not limited to, ARD/I...
