Associate Food Scientist

Job description

Reporting to the R&D Manager, you will support multiple brands across Canada and Global Markets by bringing a food‑forward, culinary‑driven mindset to product development. You will apply your scientific foundation, curiosity for consumer demand, and passion for food innovation to develop new products and improve existing items that strengthen Conagra’s portfolio. A Taste of Your Responsibilities: Develop new products from concept through successful commercialization. Conduct plant trials and support new product startups. Plan, prioritize, and complete technical tasks while maintaining accurate and complete records. Work with pilot plant equipment under guidance from senior team members. Use the online specification system to support documentation requirements. Create experiments, analyze data, and prepare results for technical review. Understand consumer demand spaces and develop prototypes that meet customer needs. Support team activities including product cuttings, plant trials, and analytical or sensory testing.
