What’s the role?: This role provides senior technical and operational leadership within Westpac’s Oracle Database Platform. It is accountable for driving AI adoption, automation, and RUN excellence across Oracle environments, while ensuring platform stability, performance, security, and continuous improvement. Acting as the lead RUN engineer, the role owns key strategic initiatives including Oracle AI enablement, automation and shift‑left delivery, OEM platform modernisation, and operational optimisation across Exadata‑based platforms. The position also provides technical leadership, end‑to‑end operational ownership, and mentoring across onshore and offshore teams.
