Order Engineer

Job description

Role Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates engineering processes, design modifications, code compliance and engineering documentation for incoming orders. Develops, evaluates, and improves order processing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, part design, fabrication processes, tooling and production. Analyzes and improves quality, cost, and delivery time. Provides engineering support in production departments by trouble shooting and resolving technical issues. Serves on Material Review Board to determine disposition of material not meeting engineering specifications.
