Printing Pressman AJM Packaging Corporation Southgate, MI: Position Overview -: AJM Packaging Corporation, one of America’s leading manufacturers of paper products, including paper plates, cups, bowls and bags, is seeking a Printing Pressman to join our team. The Printing Pressman will oversee raw material preparation, machine operation and troubleshooting, production scheduling, and team coordination while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and smooth shift transitions. Responsibilities & Duties -: - Prepares and inspects incoming raw material prior to sending to production. - Operate and troubleshoot roll automation, press loading/offloading, and Unwind/Rewind equipment. - Verify and label rolls through automation according to the print schedule. - Ability to interpret production schedules to foreplan material changes. - Supervise printing crew and work effectively in a team-oriented environment to support machine productivity. - Assist in production activities associated with machine setup, operation, cleaning, and preventative maintenance. - Update incoming machine operators to ensure smooth transition of duties at shift change. - Adhere to Safety and Plant rules, including...
