Description Position Summary: Work includes all types of sheet metal/HVAC. May run sheet metal jobs as a Superintendent. Individuals should be able to read and understand blueprints, communicate effectively with all other people on the project, including our subcontractors, and represent TP Mechanical Contractors in a professional manner. Should be able to accept directions and/or lead and delegate the work if necessary. Focus on safety and safety practices first and foremost at all task inceptions Responsibilities and Duties: Ensure optimal material consumption. . • Strengthen skills to encourage improvement in other sheet metal workers. Emphasize commitment to continually improve company procedures and processes int eh be interests of the company. - Coordinate, install and/or repair sheet metal and/or duct systems. - Assists with the assembly and installation of HVAC equipment as necessary. - Install hangars or supports for HVAC systems. - Perform field fabrication of sheet metal and/or duct systems and set up the specific task or project schedule. - Make adjustments to work sequences to meet construction schedules, using own knowledge of equipment and lower-level personnel capac...
