Job Summary: The Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Laboratory Information Systems (CLS-LIS) supports the LIS team in both daily laboratory operations and project-based initiatives. This role contributes to the analysis, design, configuration, validation, and optimization of laboratory information systems, ensuring alignment with best practices and seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems. The CLS-LIS helps maintain system functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve user experience through training, documentation, and workflow enhancements. Additionally, the CLS-LIS collaborates with laboratory leadership on technical, compliance, and system upgrade projects, supports instrument interfacing, and provides responsive end-user support across all laboratory sites. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in the life sciences or an equivalent field of study required. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or healthcare informatics preferred.
