Job Summary: Sets up, operates, and manipulates a variety of computerized and manually controlled machines for metal forming. Operates machine(s) in a prescribed safe manner – bending and roll forming tube, drilling holes, tapping threads, finishing and cleaning product, tube cutting/trimming, end forming, grinding/polishing, and cleaning. Performing these operations requires working with additional equipment such as overhead cranes, fixtures, metrology gages and hand tools. This position requires reading, planning, verifying fixture calibration and performing regular operator maintenance.
