Description The Department of Radiology, at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas, Texas), is seeking a full-time imaging scientist with expertise in ultrasound instrumentation to expand new and ongoing technical and ultrasound contrast media development, translational research, and clinical trials. The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, and passionate about solving real-world problems, and has a strong theoretical background in ultrasound, especially in its use in medical applications. The position will focus on simulation, validation and experimentation of different ultrasound modes and methodologies in both basic research and clinical settings. This faculty position will be within the Research section within the Department of Radiology and will maintain close interactions with the physicians in the CACTUS lab (Collaborative for Advanced Clinical Techniques in Ultrasound), and scientists in the TRUST lab (Translational Research in Ultrasound Theranostics).
