College: Louisiana Delta Community College Department: Academic Affairs: Sub department: Nursing, Allied Health & Safety Type of Appointment: Unclassified - Faculty 9 month Salary: $54,750 - $57,000: Duties and Responsibilities: - Teach the equivalent of 18 credit hours/year, typically 9 hours in the fall semester and 9 hours in the spring semester. Overload course assignments may be authorized and limited to the equivalent of 6 credit hours/semester. - Coordinate practicum scheduling, 0rientation, documentation, and resolution of student or site concerns in a timely manner - Ensure program and student compliance with clinical and field affiliate requirements, including immunizations, background checks, physicals, and drug screenings - Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of courses, with emphasis on clinical/field components and quality improvement processes - Collaborate with regional EMS programs and clinical/field sites for preceptor orientation and evaluation - Assist Program Coordinator with selection and evaluation of instructional resources, including textbooks, lab supplies, and library materials - Conduct site visits to affiliated clinical locations to en...
