Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Infection Control Practitioner I for our Infection Prevention unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As an Infection Control Practitioner I, you will: - Work with supervision to implement the hospital wide infection prevention program, to include policy/procedure development - Provides integral input into the design and implementation of educational presentations regarding infection prevention and isolation/precautions in relation to specific communicable diseases - Manage critical data and ensure infection prevention databases are maintained in a timely fashion - Epidemiological analysis and reporting of infection data - Ensure infection prevention databases are maintained in a timely fashion - Educate team members - Monitor for environmental and practice compliance - Facilitate to the Infection Prevention Committee and management of infection prevention team members as designated - Assist with the implement...
