Associate General Counsel, Government Contracts

Job description

Associate General Counsel would be responsible for performing and managing assigned legal and compliance functions in support of the Company’s business operations. Key Responsibilities: Government Contracts Management, Compliance and Counseling Primary attorney for Company’s U.S.-flag ocean and intermodal transportation contracts with U.S. Government Company’s subject matter expert for government contract law matters Provide legal advice and guidance in support of assigned business units and contract execution teams regarding interpretation and implementation of contract terms and applicable procurement law/regulations (e.g., Federal Acquisition Regulations) Interface with government legal and acquisition personnel to resolve government contract issues Coordinate with Company’s compliance team to identify, investigate and address government contract compliance issues Coordinate with business units to identify and address government contract management issues.
