Job Posting Title: Research Engineering Scientist Associate I Hiring Department: Molecular Biosciences Position Open To: All Applicants Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40 FLSA Status: Exempt Earliest Start Date: Immediately Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until May 15, 2027 Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS Job Details: Purpose The purpose of this position is to conduct independent and collaborative research supporting the laboratory’s mission to investigate molecular mechanisms of genome maintenance and cellular stress responses. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing funded research projects and advance the lab’s scientific productivity. Responsibilities: Design and execute experiments in molecular and cellular biology Analyze/interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical and computational approaches Required Qualifications: · Demonstrated experience in molecular and/or cellular biology techniques · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects · Commitment to maintaining a collaborative research environment Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
