Job description

GEA is one of the largest technology suppliers for food processing and a wide range of other industries. The global group specializes in machinery, plants, as well as process technology and components. For our Nutrition Plant Engineering division, we are currently looking for an Automation Engineer. Responsibilities / Tasks: Main duties: Supports the implementation of the automation engineering of projects in contact with the Lead or Senior engineers, as well as other Project Engineers since the signing of the contract until completion to be on time / quality / budget and reaching high customer satisfaction levels. Number of projects per year: 2-8 projects worldwide. Once the methodology as defined above is established, to implement it, follow it up and control its accomplishment by means of the project. Travel and commissioning estimated 45% of the time over the year. Mostly works in a project team, coordinated with other engineers assigned to the project. Operational: Ensures automation engineering project compliance with customer specifications, functional analysis, GEA norms and automation standards.
