Buyer/Sourcing Specialist Job Profile About the Company: Controlled Environments Company (CEC) is a single source supplier and solutions provider to customers operating in critically clean and controlled environments. Established in 1996, the company supports some of the world’s largest multinational manufacturers across the microelectronics, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, life science, and medical device industries. Job Summary: The Buyer/Sourcing Specialist will manage new product requests, ad hoc sourcing requirements, and cost saving project initiatives across a range of commodities. Working with new and existing suppliers they will identify purchasing sources for products to achieve functional improvements, cost savings, and improved lead-times. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic sourcing of products and suppliers to support open enquiries - Support sales staff with technical queries on product and identify solutions for our customers - Ensure timely turnaround on all customer enquiries to enable the best customer service experience - Negotiate pricing, deals, contracts and delivery schedules with suppliers - Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on opportunities to reduce sourcin...
