Job Description Dewberry's Daphne office is seeking a Construction Inspector / Manager to provide complete construction administration and inspection services for site civil construction activities including roadways, land development, and water and sewer utility projects. This position will often include resident inspection of projects for our public and private sector Clients. The position requires a general knowledge of site, roadway, and utility design and installation, proficient communication skills, and a personable demeanor. The position includes conducting site visits and / or providing resident inspection, monitoring contractor(s) schedule, verifying construction documents and approving shop drawings, and handling any questions that may arise during the construction phase while under the supervision of the Engineer. The Construction Inspector / Manager will make field visits as required and attend meetings; and represent Dewberry at meetings, interpret and support our designs, and act as Dewberry’s liaison.
