HR Manager

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and confident HR manger with excellent ER knowledge and operational HR experience to join our team. This is a full-time position, 5 days per week, based on-site in our office located in Manchester with occasional travel to other sites. The HR Manager will lead our HR function overseeing day to day operations including recruitment and vetting, management of ER cases, absence management and overall HR compliance while providing practical, consistent and professional HR advice and guidance to managers across a full breadth of HR related topics. This position will require someone with strong employment law and TUPE knowledge. The role responsibilities will include :- - Provide day to day management of small HR team. - Oversee recruitment and vetting for the business ensuring all timescales maintained and vetting compliance targets achieved in line with Security Industry Authority requirements and British Standards for screening and vetting. - Provide pragmatic advice, coaching and case management support to line managers on a broad range of employee relations matters (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, probation, restructure, TUPE, compli...
