Hoffberger School of Painting MFA program of Maryland Institute College of Art invites applications for this full-time faculty position with a one-year non-renewable contract in a non-tenure institution beginning Fall 2026. We welcome candidates who are dedicated educators with significant professional experience in painting, whose professional practice, teaching, research, or service have prepared them to contribute to excellence in graduate education at MICA. Job Description: This faculty member will teach eighteen credits per year (typically, 9 per semester) in the graduate program. The ideal candidate will be a painter who has global perspective and is committed to inspiring and preparing the next generation of artists.
