Introduction: As a mechanical technician, you will contribute to upgrade projects of the CMS detector, covering a broad range of responsibilities. These include workshop-based mechanical work, installation of detector systems, and the design and use of tooling for the removal and installation of CMS sub-detectors, as well as radioprotection duties in experimental areas and associated laboratories. You will also take on coordination and operational responsibilities within the CMS Technical Coordination team, working closely with sub-detector groups and CMS technical support teams.
