Summer Help - Core Support - 1st shift

This is a temporary summer help position. A great opportunity for students looking to make extra money over the summer. Core Support positions are responsible for the production, assembly and inspection of sand cores as well as general labor job duties inside the Core Department. As part of a team guided by Core Operations, Core Support works with other team members on designated machines to assemble units made from sand in a timely, accurate manner. Core Support members inspect assembled units for quality and actively work to maintain a high standard of production. Core Support members wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as cores are constructed from sand and, in some cases, are joined and/or fitted together. This role is an entry-level opportunity and does not require any previous experience. The position does offer the opportunity for cross training and experience in a variety of tasks related to core production.
