Job description

Job Summary: The Camera Operator will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage during sixteen (16) Detroit Tigers spring training games and sixty-six (66) Flying Tigers regular season games. Collaboration with Game Presentation Director to facilitate appropriate needs for in-game presentation and live-stream needs. Key Responsibilities: Operate video cameras to capture live footage of baseball games, including player actions, crowd reactions, and other relevant content. Set up and position cameras in strategic locations to capture the best angles and shots for game coverage. Work closely with the production team, including directors and producers, to capture shots as per the game script and production plan. Focus on capturing close-ups of players, coaches, and other key figures during the game. Operate cameras for instant replays and provide additional angles for in-game analysis. Capture footage for in-game features, promotions, and entertainment elements as directed by the production team. Ensure that cameras are properly maintained and in good working condition.
