POSITION: INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER I: LOCATION: Chatsworth, CA: SHIFT: Monday - Thursday (6:15 AM – 4:45 PM) Qualifications: Key Responsibilities: Industrial Engineering (≈50%): - Conduct time studies and work measurements to establish labor standards. - Assist with process mapping and workflow analysis across manufacturing operations. - Collect and analyze production data including cycle time, scrap, throughput, and rework . - Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production processes. - Support line balancing and workstation layout improvements . - Assist with Lean initiatives, 5S implementation, and continuous improvement projects . Manufacturing Engineering (≈50%): - Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions and standard operating procedures . - Provide daily engineering support to production teams . - Assist with tooling, fixtures, and process documentation . - Support process troubleshooting for machining, composites, finishing, and testing operations. - Assist with process validation and first article builds . - Coordinate with quality engineering to resolve production defects and nonconformances .
