Job description

We are seeking a qualified Medical Gas Plumber to install, test, and maintain medical gas and vacuum systems in commercial healthcare construction projects. This role requires strict adherence to industry codes and standards, ensuring safe and compliant installation of systems that support patient care environments. The ideal candidate has experience in medical gas piping, holds required certifications, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and safety. Key Responsibilities: Install medical gas and vacuum piping systems (oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air, nitrogen, vacuum, etc.) Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and isometric drawings specific to healthcare facilities Install piping systems using copper tubing and approved materials per medical gas standards Perform brazing using nitrogen purge in compliance with medical gas requirements Label, identify, and properly route all medical gas lines according to code Conduct pressure testing, cross-connection testing, and system verification Assist with system commissioning and coordinate third-party inspections Maintain cleanliness standards required for medical gas systems (oil-free, contaminant-free installation) E...
