Job Title Student Worker, Region 8 Agency: Texas Division of Emergency Management Department: R8 Recovery and Mitigation Section Proposed Minimum Salary: $15.00 hourly Job Location: Bryan, Texas Job Type: Student Worker Job Description: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) is an emergency response entity, and this status can affect working hours, travel and change in duties as needed. Under general direction, the Student Worker, Region 8 is responsible for assisting Region 8 with general office duties that include, but are not limited to, assisting with mail operations and logistics, monitoring and tracking orders, face-to-face interactions at the reception desk area, and general coordination of the workflow within an office as needed. Work is restricted to college students. Priorities or class schedules to be submitted on a weekly basis. Work schedule and work adjustments subject to prior approval. Work is performed at the TDEM Region 8 Headquarters (RELLIS) located in Bryan, Texas. **This position is not eligible for benefits.
