Municipal Officer Reference number: 11131: Closing date: 11:00pm, Monday 27 April 2026 - Multiple casual positions available. - Salary commencing at $36.48 per hour plus 25% casual loading plus 12% superannuation (commensurate with experience). - Classified as band 3. The Opportunity: Moonee Valley City Council is suitably experienced individuals to join our Municipal Casual pool within the Waste & Recycling team. If you have relevant skills, qualifications and experience in particularly within street cleansing we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: - Operate leaf blowers and other equipment to move leaf litter from footpaths, nature strips and road gutters for collection by street sweepers - Undertake general street cleansing and maintenance activities across roads, parks and open spaces - Safely operate and maintain plant, tools and equipment - Assist with minor maintenance and fault detection of equipment - Carry out manual labouring tasks as directed by supervisors - Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Council policies, procedures and OH&S requirements - Provide courteous and professional interactions with members of the public - Contribute to a positive, c...
