Rate of Pay : £14.50- £18.38 per hour Summary: The GI (Geographical Information) Officer plays a pivotal role in managing and advancing Brentwood Borough Council's spatial data infrastructure. You will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance, development, and deployment of GIS systems, ensuring that geographical data remains a core asset for decision-making across the authority.A significant portion of this role involves high-level data integrity, acting as a primary liaison for the Public Sector Geospatial Agreement (PSMA) and working closely with the LLPG (Local Land and Property Gazetteer) Custodian. You will bridge the gap between complex IT infrastructure and front-end user support, ensuring that spatial data is accurate, accessible, and integrated into wider corporate IT initiatives.
