We are working closely alongside a local authority in Brentwood t o assist with the appointment of a GI Officer on a 3 - months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £14.50- £18.38 per hour Summary: The GI (Geographical Information) Officer plays a pivotal role in managing and advancing Brentwood Borough Council's spatial data infrastructure. You will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance, development, and deployment of GIS systems, ensuring that geographical data remains a core asset for decision-making across the authority.A significant portion of this role involves high-level data integrity, acting as a primary liaison for the Public Sector Geospatial Agreement (PSMA) and working closely with the LLPG (Local Land and Property Gazetteer) Custodian.
