THE ROLE: Join Downer’s Water Engineering team as a Senior Process Engineer and help shape the infrastructure that supports Australia's sustainable future. Based out of our SEQ office in Brisbane, you’ll lead the delivery of process engineering services across high-impact water projects, spanning design, construction, commissioning, and operations. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll mentor junior engineers, contribute to innovation, and ensure technical excellence across wastewater and water treatment initiatives. You’ll play a pivotal role in projects that matter, from wastewater recycling to biosolids treatment, while collaborating with clients, technical experts, and construction teams to deliver safe, high-performing systems that serve communities. Some of the key responsibilities include: Lead process engineering design, documentation, and commissioning across major water/wastewater projects. Provide technical mentorship and foster a high-performing team culture within the engineering group.
