Lifeguard (Seasonal Temporary) Duties and Requirements: Under supervision, this role consists of Lifeguarding at a small campground beachfront. Job duties include: Other duties may also include being responsible for cleanliness of restroom facilities, issuing camping permits, and monitoring the entrance/exit of the campground. All lifeguards must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid NYS driver’s license, and possess valid NYS certification for Lifeguarding, Waterfront Skills/First Aid/CPR/AED. Pay: $21.00/hr. - The Supervision of swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within safety protocols; - Spotting hazards or potential hazards and taking corrective action to prevent accidents; - Performing rescue in the event of swimming accidents; - Performing first aid and CPR in adverse situations.
