Working Title: Sports Medicine Physician - Per Diem Classification: Physician - Specialty Services - Non-Exempt Posting Details: Priority Application Date (Open Until Filled): Sunday, March 29, 2026 @ 11:55pm PT Hiring Preference: Not Applicable: Position Summary: The Sports Medicine Physician provides comprehensive medical care to students and student-athletes, including diagnosis, treatment, and injury prevention. This position collaborates closely with healthcare professionals within SHCWS, athletic trainers, coaches, to support the well-being of students, and student-athletes and ensure compliance with NCAA and university policies. The physician reports directly to the Medical Director and works under the administrative oversight of the Senior Associate Vice President for Student Health, Counseling, and Wellness Services. Work assignments may involve related activities; providing physical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of both sport and non-sport related injuries and illnesses; serve as a consultant/resource to other health care practitioners, facilitate referrals to student insurance biller and community-based resources and interface with outside medical, surgical, and o...
