Position Summary: The Lab Courier is responsible for the timely pickup, transfer, and delivery of medical specimens and records between laboratories, practice offices, and clinics. Essential Functions: To perform effectively in this role, the candidate must fulfill the following duties with or without reasonable accommodations: - Operate a company vehicle during the shift across various roads and weather conditions. - Safely transport laboratory specimens, medical records, pharmacy items, interoffice mail, and other related materials in a timely and efficient manner. - Exhibit safe and courteous driving practices. - Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, ensuring positive interactions with patients, vendors, employees, and the public. - Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure the company vehicle remains clean, organized, and well-maintained. - Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance. - Perform additional duties as assigned.
