Renovations Assistant

Job description

The Renovations Assistant provides hands-on support for renovation and improvement projects at Fantasyland Hotel. This role is responsible for completing a variety of repair, renovation, and finishing tasks within guest rooms and hotel spaces, with a focus on larger projects that support the upkeep, modernization, and overall appearance of the property. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced in multiple trades within a fast-paced hospitality environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Completing renovation, repair, and improvement projects within guest rooms, hallways, and other hotel areas, including demolition, installation, finishing, and general construction tasks. - Performing a variety of trade related duties including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, flooring installation, basic plumbing, and minor electrical work. - Assisting with larger renovation projects and room upgrades to maintain hotel quality and appearance standards. - Operating and maintaining hand tools, power tools, and renovation equipment in a safe and efficient manner. - Preparing work areas, moving materials, and ensuring renovation spaces remain clean, organized, and...
