Job description

Purpose and Scope: The Energy Management Specialist III shall be responsible for the implementation of a robust energy and water conservation program in support of KSC’s Federal Energy and Water Conservation and Renewable Energy generation goals. The Energy Management Specialist III shall be familiar with Federal guidelines and recommendations for Energy and Water Conservation including goals provided in the latest Executive Orders for Federal Facilities. The Energy Management Specialist III must possess or be able to acquire the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation. Continuous education credits are required to maintain this certification. Job Duties and Essential Responsibilities: - Lead the Energy and Water Conservation Program in all aspects of Federal, State, NASAS and company regulations and rules. - Conduct facility audits for energy and water conservation measures according to American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) standards. - Develop, submit, and track projects for energy and water conservation measures. - Proficiency in Automated Utility Database Reporting & Information System (AUDRIS), energy, and water tracking software....
