Job Purpose & Position Overview: The Paramedic trainee position is designed to provide on-the-job training and educational development in emergency medical services. The trainee will work alongside certified paramedics, EMT-A and EMT-B and other medical services staff to assist in providing pre-hospital care to patients. Over the course of a four-year period, the trainee will acquire the skills and qualifications necessary to become a certified paramedic. The position provides exposure to emergency care in field settings, supporting EMS operations while developing a comprehensive understanding of medical emergency protocols.
