Description The McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research at New York University Silver School of Social Work is committed to creating new knowledge about the root causes of poverty, developing evidence-based interventions to address its consequences, and rapidly translating research findings into action through policy and best practices. We are seeking a talented and motivated full-time Senior Project Coordinator to work with the WeCare team on a randomized controlled trial: “Answering the Alarm: A System of Care for Black Youth at Risk for Suicide (WeCare).” This study, a collaboration between New York University, NYC Health and Hospitals, and the University of Michigan, aims to evaluate a system of care for youth that includes suicide risk screening as well as an intervention combining safety planning with strategies to improve access to mental health services. The ideal candidate will have the drive and desire to work and grow in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and work effectively on a collaborative team.
