Mammo Tech Position Type: PRN - Flexible Schedule Benefits: 401(k) with matching Job Summary: The Mammography Technologist II performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures to aid in the detection and treatment of breast diseases. This role requires advanced technical skills, adherence to FDA/MQSA, ACR, and state regulatory standards, and a strong commitment to patient safety and care. The Mammography Technologist II ensures high-quality imaging, maintains compliance with quality control protocols, and provides patients with education and support throughout the imaging process. Essential Functions: - Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms, using proper positioning, compression, and technique to ensure high-quality imaging. - Ensures compliance with radiation safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and patient privacy regulations. - Verifies and updates PACS and RIS systems, ensuring patient records and images are properly documented and stored. - Maintains and operates mammography equipment, conducting quality control checks to meet ACR and MQSA requirements. - Ensures all patient procedures are correctly ordered, verified, and acknowledged, maintaining accu...
