Minimum qualifications: - JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience. - Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the UK or an EU member state. - 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm. - Experience in music or other digital entertainment sectors, gained in-house or at a law firm, including copyright law as it pertains to sound recordings and musical compositions. Preferred qualifications: - Experience in the practical application of the European Copyright Directive. - Experience in regulatory or policy initiatives related to music, copyright, and technology within Europe and the wider EMEA region. - Familiarity with content licensing agreements, and frameworks for collective licensing and equitable remuneration. - Familiarity with legal and regulatory issues relating to generative AI and machine learning.
