Junior Sommelier

Job description

A true chef de rang within the bar, the sommelier/limonadier will be present on the floor to welcome guests, take orders (drinks and food), and ensure a memorable experience centered around wine and spirits. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Set up and open the bar. - Welcome guests and take orders. - Promote and sell wines by the glass, bottles, cocktails, spirits, and bar food. - Participate in wine events at Boulevardier, Flâneur, and Les Cousins bar (with the head sommelier). - Close the bar. - Prepare cocktails in the absence of bartenders. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: - Energetic and customer service–oriented - Passion for wine and spirits - 2 to 4 years of experience in restaurant service - Training in sommellerie (WSET Level 2 or in progress / Additional Certification in Sommellerie) (an asset) WHAT WE OFFER: Apply - we can’t wait to meet you! - Love to travel?
