Specialist I Labs - Exposures/Coatings

Job description

The Specialist I is a very independent role tasked with the responsibility to manage own project timelines. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple departments and be exposed to various laboratory processes. Key Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Independently develop, assemble, and maintain test equipment, instrumentation, and SOP’s. - Schedule and apply coatings for exposure testing while working with the Exposure lab hours. - Perform all applicable corporate and laboratory quality control procedures and policies. - Using SDS’s to work with various chemicals, solvents, acids, and bases. - Prepare all records (electronic data, folders, and forms) in a timely, thorough, and neat manner. Use the laboratory information systems and sample tracking procedures, as applicable. - Evaluate and lead development of laboratory processes. - Work with Account Managers and external clients to complete witness testing. - Work with other Labs within the Ann Arbor Labs as needed. - Maintain a clean work area and independently complete weekly safety walkthroughs. - Suggest, test, document, and implement process improvements. - Cross-train in other Exposures or Prep...
