Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Anesthesia Clinical Assistant– Inpatient Surgery – St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital Shift/Schedule: THIS IS A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT POSITION. - Full Time - Scheduled for 40 Weekly Hours - Shift/Schedule - Days/Afternoons (6a-2:30p) Primary Function/General Purpose of Position: This position supports the licensed care provider in the clinical setting by providing support for surgical procedures, insertion of blocks, and invasive monitoring. Assists in preparation of anesthesia equipment as well as the anesthesia delivery system before and during the time anesthesia is administered to patients. Responsible for first level of maintenance of anesthesia equipment including but not limited to cleaning, disinfecting, maintaining supply stock, ordering, and expediting repairs. Essential Job Functions: ​ Sets up and troubleshoots anesthesia machines, monitors, ancillary equipment, and supplies. Responsible to set-up and assist with all equipment and supplies for anesthesia cases performed in the preoperative holding area (Line Room), Intraoperatively, Endoscopy, C...
