Corps/Department: Salvation Army Clitheroe Center: Reports To: Executive Director FLSA Status: Full Time/40 hours per week; Exempt Education and Work Experience: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current Alaska Registered Nurse license preferred; a licensed practical nurse who is supervised by a physician may also apply. - Current certification in CPR and first aid - Experience in direct client care of alcohol/drug withdrawal management with knowledge of the psychological and behavioral manifestations of chemical dependency preferred. Scope of Position/Essential Functions: The Residential Nurse under the general guidance of the Executive Director, at Clitheroe Residential, reviews and manages the self-administration medicine protocol; provides guidance and training to Behavioral Health Associates and other residential staff, documents client's primary care doctor's orders, maintains medication administration records (MARs) for clients, or delegates task as needed, regularly audits MARs for errors and provides trai...
