The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maine seeks highly qualified applicants for its Academic, Administrative, and Financial Coordinator position. This position is supervised by the Chair of Mechanical Engineering and will be responsible for facilitating academic affairs, supporting the administrative functions, and handling the internal financial matters within the department. This is a full-time (40 hours, 5 days per week) salaried position. Normal daily work hours at UMaine are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A few activities, e.g., outreach, student recruitment, graduation, annual retreat, may fall on weekends or extend beyond the regularly scheduled work hours. Typical hiring range for this position is $50,000 to $55,700 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
