Description Join our team! Galloway Ridge is an upscale continuing care retirement community located between Chapel Hill and Pittsboro in Chatham County, NC. Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Facilities Operations, the Building Maintenance Specialist is responsible for performing upkeep, repair, installation, restoration, refurbishment, and support activities for the buildings within the community, including common & business areas, residential apartments & single-family homes, building equipment & systems, and structural components & devices. This involves plumbing, electrical, appliances, kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, woodwork/carpentry, general maintenance, and miscellaneous service work as requested. The Building Maintenance Specialist may be required to be on call based on a rotation schedule, includes being available to respond to emergency issues or needs at any hour of the day and night for an entire week (Monday to Sunday).
