Fall Intern: Coalition Defense of Taiwan

Overview The American Enterprise Institute seeks an intern for the Coalition Defense of Taiwan who will conduct research in support of scholar Dan Blumenthal and others. The team’s portfolio focuses on US defense policy and security issues in the Indo-Pacific, including China’s military modernization, interests and objectives of US allies, and cross-Strait relations. Key responsibilities may include: - Monitoring political and military developments in the region, - Researching historical and contemporary events, - Examining key aspects of modern warfighting in recent conflicts, - Compiling sources in English and Chinese, and - Collecting and organizing data. The ideal candidate will possess: A positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
