Job description

GAI is seeking a Senior Project Technical Specialist 2 to join our Power Delivery team in the role of Senior Transmission Design Engineer. This position will report to the Transmission Line Assistant Engineering Director in our Power Delivery Engineering Business Sector in GAI’s Power Business Unit. Required skills include transmission line design experience, critical thinking, problem solving, organization, team-focus, and eagerness to apply learned engineering principles to solve real life problems. This position will be hybrid out of our Lisle, IL office. This position combines technical leadership in transmission line design with advisory responsibilities to support a program through all phases of project development and execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-voltage transmission line engineering and design, and strong problem-solving skills. This individual should be technically focused and a strong project leader with developed technical, communication, and computer skills.
