South Coast Nursing Homes is an established and successful, family owned and managed, care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex. We currently operate 8 homes (soon to be 9) across East and West Sussex. We have 359 beds and will be adding a further 55 beds to our portfolio with the opening of a new Nursing home in central Worthing within the next 2 months. Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours – day and night, for long and short-term stays. Reporting to the Home Manager, the Welfare Liaison is responsible for supporting the entire care team to meet the needs of residents’ welfare and well-being. The Welfare liaison must have exemplary communication skills and a keen eye for detail. The role encompasses seeing each resident as individuals and formulating the structure in which to meet their holistic requirements for living well, including the recognition that family members or friends are also integral to this process and so collaboration between external and the internal elements are key to success of the role.
